Warranty Conditions

Period of validity

The manufacturer's warranty for production defects covers a period of 12 months. The warranty certificate combined with the original invoice from the specialised dealer serves as proof.

Exclusions

• Lacquer, silver and gold plating — these can be affected by perspiration, environmental pollution or salty air.
• Cases and bags — their durability depends heavily on user behaviour.
• Pads, corks, springs and other wear parts.

Procedure

In the event of a warranty claim, please return your instrument to the specialised dealer where it was purchased. If shipping for repair is required, the customer bears the transport costs.

Loss of warranty

The warranty is void if defects were caused by the user — for example through improper handling, lack of maintenance (no oiling, no greasing of slides or corks), or if the instrument was modified or repaired by unqualified "specialists".
